Thank you so much for putting the SRO training together. Vanessa is an outstanding, professional presenter. Her evaluations were 100% positive. The entire group felt that her ability to engage everyone in meaningful conversation, addressing specific areas of need, was extremely beneficial. The curriculum workbooks and her slides worked so well together. While we got through the entire workbook, her slides, modeling, and personal experiences kept audience participation high and the training from feeling “canned”.
Thank you again! I wish I could attend the Orlando training to see what other amazing things you are doing.

Vanessa,
Thanks for taking the time and coming out to Las Vegas to share your story. The feedback I have received is that it was one of the most impactful sessions people had participated in and the start of the event was you.

Subject: Letter of thanks for Miss Vanessa Dixon
On behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department and the 77th Street Area, we would like to thank you Vanessa for volunteering your Saturday to work with the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Juvenile Impact Program. The Juvenile Impact Program is a youth oriented program that targets at risk youth in South Los Angeles. The police officers and command staff that work for the seventy-seventh street area have been working with this program for over ten years. Collectively we were all in agreement, that you were one of the best guest speakers we have ever had.
We were all very impressed with the level of commitment and desire you showed to impact the lives of the youth who attend our Juvenile Impact Program. All the officers definitely felt that you were one of the best speakers and mentors that we have had the honor of working with. We personally observed the impact that you had on the youth that were in that room.
The officers involved with the 77th Street Juvenile Impact Program and other various mentoring programs would like to develop a working relationship with you. We have identified that we can utilize your services to solidify a stronger relationship between the Los Angeles Police Department and the at-risk youth who reside within South Los Angeles.
In closing Vanessa, you have offered youth a second opinion regarding the path that they can choose in life. We were very impressed with the character and level of commitment you show to instill a positive, permanent change in the behavior of the youth that you encounter.
Very truly yours,
Police Officer II Adam Moore
